Quality Manager

About the role

As a Quality Manager you will lead the project quality function for the Darwin Ship Lift Facility, ensuring that quality management systems are effectively implemented and that all contractual and regulatory requirements are met. You will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to drive continuous improvement across engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and associated quality systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality personnel, including inspectors, coordinators and quality officers.
• Monitor quality objectives, KPIs, NCRs, defects and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for quality‑related matters with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage quality audits, inspections, surveillance activities and reporting requirements.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation prior to implementation.
• Ensure compliance with contractual specifications, industry standards and Clough Management System requirements.
• Investigate quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Relevant Engineering Degree, Diploma or Trade Qualification.
• Lead Auditor Certification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a quality leadership role within construction, engineering, fabrication or major projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Required skills

• Lead Auditor certification.
• Inspection qualifications in welding, mechanical, electrical, NDT, coatings, structural or pressure equipment.
