Quality Coordinator – Oil & Gas Projects (Fixed‑term)

About the role

Hancock Energy is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to support its rapidly growing oil and gas portfolio across Western Australia. This full‑time, fixed‑term position is based at the corporate headquarters in West Perth, with occasional site visits to regional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Hancock Energy Project Quality Plan, specifications and procedures.
• Maintain a codes and standards database for all contracts and interfaces.
• Monitor, coordinate and control project quality programmes.
• Manage equipment criticality evaluations and third‑party inspection services.
• Coordinate all inspection activities with vendors and contractors, maintaining an inspection register.
• Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), welding/NDT procedures, and vendor quality documentation (WPS, PQR, NDE, etc.).
• Compile vendor MDRs and final “As Built” documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate quality objectives clearly to the project team and supply‑chain partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience, preferably on major oil & gas construction or infrastructure projects.
• Relevant qualifications in welding and NDT (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, PCN).
• Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and mature judgement.
