QC Technician – Sample Management

About the role

Join CSL Behring at the Broadmeadows site as a QC Technician within the Sample Management team. You will coordinate and manage samples for Biochemistry, Microbiology and Chemistry testing, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently and in line with GMP, approved test methods and laboratory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing, assay execution and support day‑to‑day laboratory operations.
• Manage laboratory housekeeping, inventory, stocktakes, ordering of materials and reagents, and monitor in‑house standards and controls.
• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment according to approved procedures.
• Complete, review, verify, enter and archive laboratory records, including LIMS entries, batch records and GMP documentation.
• Coordinate QC sample distribution, external testing and associated record management.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Ability to follow laboratory test procedures and work effectively in a Lean laboratory environment.
• Knowledge and practical experience of GMP, GLP and Windows‑based software applications.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
