About the role
Join WSP's Environment Health & Safety team as a Property Risk and Compliance Consultant, supporting a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial properties across Australia. You will help ensure the safety of community facilities by delivering expert compliance guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct compliance and risk assessments, gap analyses and recommend remediation for areas such as confined spaces, hazardous materials, fire safety, traffic management, working at heights, plant risk, environmental management and contractor management.
- Collaborate with clients as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on compliance matters and optimising property management processes.
- Support project delivery by meeting quality standards, communicating with stakeholders and staying up‑to‑date with evolving regulations and industry trends.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar compliance or risk assessment role, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
