Principal Broker – Strata

About the role

Marsh is looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead its Strata team in Sydney. This hybrid position combines office collaboration three days a week with two days of remote work, providing strategic oversight of key Strata clients and mentorship to senior account executives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Strata clients, ensuring continuous connectivity and strategic partnership.
• Oversee workflow approvals, develop team plans, and provide technical insurance guidance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Senior/Account Executives.
• Deliver claims and strata training to managers and address technical insurance queries.
• Grow the book of business and manage several key client accounts.

Required profile

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or equivalent).
• Prior broking or underwriting experience in Strata or Property insurance.
• Strong knowledge of General & Financial Lines products.
• Genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers.
• Ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
