Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of planning and execution for small projects assigned by the client within LAND1508. Based in Canberra, you will act as the primary liaison between the client, the Melbourne project office, and the SOGC, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining tasks, timelines, and resource needs.
• Monitor and control project activities to meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to align efforts with project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience.
• Strong planning, organisation, and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
