Project Manager – Small Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of planning and execution for small projects assigned by the client within LAND1508. Based in Canberra and working closely with the client, you will act as the primary liaison between the Melbourne project office and the SOGC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor and control project activities to meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align efforts with project objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least 5 years of project management experience.
• Strong planning, organisation and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team engagement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
