Project Manager – Financial Services

About the role

As a Project Manager you will lead the initiation and execution of projects across the CMC ANZ Programme, supporting B2B, legal, compliance and business initiatives. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, engage stakeholders and ensure projects meet time, scope and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and vendors to keep delivery on track.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, report risks and issues, and maintain project documentation.
• Work with analysts, developers, testers and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Support business case preparation, training rollout and operational readiness.
• Apply change‑management principles, conduct post‑implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• 5–6 years experience managing projects or delivering technology solutions, preferably in financial services.
• Strong project‑management fundamentals, governance and best‑practice delivery.
• Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and adapt to changing priorities.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Agile and waterfall project‑management techniques.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud.
• Knowledge of ASX or CHESS systems.
• Project‑management qualifications such as AIPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
