Project Manager – Electrical Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Construction to join our team at our Ipswich office. This full‑time position will own projects from planning and mobilisation through to final completion and handover, working closely with crews and clients across Brisbane, South East Queensland and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from commencement through to completion and handover, including budgeting, progress claims and invoicing.
• Recruit, select and coordinate project personnel and site crews, and oversee daily site operations.
• Plan project programmes, labour, equipment and resources; monitor progress, productivity, workmanship and quality.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors and stakeholders; resolve site issues, delays and risks.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements; ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing electrical construction, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation methodologies, including LV/HV cable installation.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Current driver’s licence and Construction White Card.
• Willingness to travel to regional and interstate projects as required.

Required skills

• LV/HV cable installation and advanced cable hauling.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project management software.
