Project Manager – Construction & Fire Protection

About the role

Firerite Services is seeking a commercially‑minded Project Manager to lead fire protection installation projects from planning through to completion. The role is based in Brisbane and does not require prior fire‑industry experience, but a strong background in construction or related trades.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, mobilisation, scheduling, budgeting and procurement.
• Coordinate technicians, trades and subcontractors on‑site, ensuring resources align with program milestones.
• Maintain client and stakeholder communication, handle variations, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, handover documentation and final project close‑out.

Required profile

• Proven project management or construction delivery experience.
• Strong organisational, coordination and commercial awareness skills.
• Excellent communication with clients, builders and subcontractors.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Focus on quality and successful project completion.
