Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure (Alice Springs)

About the role

RPS is seeking an experienced client‑side Project Manager to join its Alice Springs team. The role will lead building, property and infrastructure projects for government and private clients, delivering outcomes on time and within budget. You will enjoy autonomy, stakeholder engagement and a front‑line position on major projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction and infrastructure projects from initiation to close‑out.
• Manage contracts, procurement and contractor performance.
• Liaise with government and private sector clients to define scope and deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and risk registers using Microsoft Project and other tools.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years recent construction project experience, preferably with underground infrastructure.
• Relevant professional qualification in project management, construction management, engineering or architecture.
• Proven experience in contract administration and managing contractor agreements.
• Strong client and stakeholder management abilities.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain or retain a baseline security clearance.
• Completed construction site health and safety training.
