Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment

About the role

Great opportunity to work on blue‑chip, large‑scale, high‑specification commercial office fit‑out projects with a market‑leading construction company. As Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering safe, high‑quality and profitable construction projects from conversion through to hand‑over and review, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, schedule and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, track key milestones and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, documenting all quality concerns.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• 5‑15+ years experience delivering fit‑out and refurbishment projects for 2nd/3rd tier contractors.
• Proven leadership ability and strong knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Construction management software such as Jobpac, Procore and Asta Powerproject.
