Project Manager - Brisbane

About the role

Bureau Veritas Buildings is growing in Brisbane and is looking for an ambitious project professional to step into a Project Manager role, moving from an Assistant Project Manager position. You will join a collaborative team of experienced project specialists, gain exposure across the full project lifecycle and work directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead the planning, management and delivery of projects from inception to completion
• Manage project programmes, reporting, risks and budgets
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and key project stakeholders
• Support procurement and contract administration activities
• Prepare client reports and project documentation
• Contribute to project governance and delivery outcomes
• Build strong relationships with clients and project teams
• Take increasing responsibility for project delivery as experience grows

Required profile

• 2-4 years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator or similar in a project management consultancy, client-side organisation, architecture, construction, property or related professional services environment
• Exposure to property, buildings, education, healthcare, community or social infrastructure projects
• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Property or a related discipline
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
