Project Engineer – Civil Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join Whyte Civil’s NSW team, delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects across New South Wales and Queensland. You will work closely with project managers and site crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor on‑site quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and progress claims.
• Support procurement processes and cost‑control measures.
• Troubleshoot day‑to‑day engineering challenges and drive operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in civil infrastructure, preferably water and sewer works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and relevant standards.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented, hands‑on approach with attention to detail.
