Program Finance Specialist (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Program Finance Specialist to support the financial management of large‑scale ICT programs and projects. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based on‑site in Darwin and will work closely with program leaders, finance teams and key stakeholders to ensure robust financial governance and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, forecasts and budget analysis for programs and projects.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budget management, scenario analysis and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create annual and multi‑year program budgets.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and variances, and provide recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, funding requirements and reporting obligations.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Provide financial guidance to project teams and finance staff to ensure accurate cost capture and timely management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in program or project financial management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including treatment of project‑related and intangible assets.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA qualification highly regarded.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to accountability, integrity and continuous improvement.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modelling.
• Financial modelling and scenario analysis.

• Data analysis of large datasets.
• Knowledge of corporate and project finance appraisal.
