Banking Consultant – Darwin

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Retail Banking team in Darwin. You will help customers achieve their financial goals by delivering a seamless, end‑to‑end banking experience, both in‑branch and through digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised financial advice and conduct needs‑based conversations with customers.
• Promote and educate customers on ANZ’s digital solutions and product range.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy.
• Participate in bank programmes and initiatives that enhance the branch’s performance.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multi‑task, adapt to change and work in an ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to collaborate within a team and act as a peer coach.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
