Product Specialist - Surgical Devices (MedTech Sales)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Surgery team is looking for a full-time Product Specialist to join its Surgical Team in New South Wales. The role focuses on promoting and selling products from the Surgical Stapling and Energy Sealing & Dissecting Devices portfolio to specialist surgeons and key hospital decision makers, while providing in-theatre clinical support and in-service training.

Key responsibilities

• Sell surgical products across the New South Wales medical sector
• Build and maintain key clinical relationships with effective territory coverage
• Pursue tender and contract opportunities
• Research customer needs to identify sales opportunities and solutions
• Provide customer support on inventory within company guidelines
• Work collaboratively with other Product Specialists in New South Wales

Required profile

• Degree qualified, preferably with 2-3 years of hospital sales experience in surgical devices and experience in an operating theatre environment
• Ability to travel domestically to the assigned territory, including frequent travel to hospitals in New South Wales
• Rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid driver's licence

Required skills

• Preferred: Account management, solutions selling, market research, Oracle Customer Data Management (CDM)
• Preferred: analytical reasoning, collaboration, problem solving, customer analytics and healthcare trends
