Product & Solutions Summer Intern – Sydney

About the role

This 9‑week summer internship in Product & Solutions at Mastercard in Sydney offers hands‑on experience in product management, compliance, analytics and project work within the payments industry.

Key responsibilities

• Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support the evolution of Mastercard programs.
• Liaise with a global customer base to identify improvement opportunities and understand customer needs.
• Support team functions to ensure customer compliance with Mastercard standards.
• Use analytic insights and tools to facilitate compliance, investigative and reporting initiatives.
• Perform project‑management duties, including documenting processes, developing timelines, managing compliance cases and supporting third‑party risk mitigation.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to develop action plans addressing vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Interface with internal and external customers to educate on program rules, procedures and best practices.
• Conduct desktop research to identify regional or global trends.
