Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will coordinate purchasing requirements for the Hyatt Regency Sydney hotel, working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to manage costs while maintaining service standards. This hands‑on position leads a team of five on a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for all hotel outlets, including Banquets, In‑Room Dining, Restaurants and Pastry.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Control spend, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Lead, motivate and schedule a team of five procurement staff across a 7‑day roster.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Experience with BirchStreet procurement software (strongly preferred).
• HACCP certification (preferred).
