Procurement Manager – Energy Projects

About the role

Lead the procurement process for EPC energy projects, ensuring excellence in buying, expediting, logistics and supplier quality surveillance. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet delivery commitments and project plans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day procurement activities, reporting cost control, progress and vendor documentation.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors through RFT and bidding processes.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and support negotiations for favourable terms.
• Collaborate with engineering, cost engineering and estimating teams to align specifications and cost plans.
• Issue purchase orders and sub‑contracts, conduct expediting, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years procurement and expediting experience with high‑voltage and medium‑voltage equipment.
• Experience on large‑scale projects over $300 million.
• Strong knowledge of technical specifications for transmission line and gas projects.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
