Procurement Advisor

About the role

Water Corporation is seeking a Procurement Advisor to join its Leederville office on a permanent basis. You will provide comprehensive procurement services across the organisation, handling strategic sourcing, purchasing and expediting of a wide range of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify shopping carts to ensure accuracy and clear specifications for goods and services.
• Solicit bids, prepare recommendations and purchase items in line with established standards, applying value‑for‑money principles.
• Provide procurement support to groups, branches and regions, meeting agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Recent purchasing experience in a multi‑discipline engineering‑focused commercial organisation.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or SRM (or equivalent ERP system).
• Understanding of contemporary procurement theory, electronic trading applications and processes.
• Strong stakeholder relationship building and influencing skills.
