Principal – Risk Management & Corporate

About the role

Marsh is looking for an experienced insurance broker to join its Risk Management & Corporate team in Brisbane. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, large new‑business tenders, and complex insurance program design.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of revenue‑generating corporate accounts while delivering high‑quality service.
• Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities, including new‑logo and organic expansion.
• On‑board new clients, present value propositions and build senior‑level insurer relationships.
• Lead renewal and broking strategies, ensuring effective account retention and defence.
• Participate actively in claim‑related matters and track emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial broking experience with a proven track record of new business generation.
• Extensive knowledge of risks and insurance products across key industry sectors.
• Strong market presence within General Insurance and a robust network for opportunity generation.
• Energetic, proactive attitude with a high commitment to client service.
