Practice Nurse (GP Clinic)

About the role

City Heart Medical, a large family-oriented practice serving the Rockhampton community since 1959, is looking for a qualified EN or RN to join its team of nurses, staff and doctors. You will work both autonomously and collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Immunisations, including childhood, employment, travel and COVID-19 vaccinations
• Wound care
• Patient triage
• Sterilisation and infection control implementation
• Diagnostics required for Employment and Aviation Medicals
• General treatment room duties
• Cold chain management

Required profile

• AHPRA registration and full working rights in Australia; no sponsorship available
• Available to be rostered 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility
• Ideally GP nursing experience and experience with GP Chronic Condition Management Plans and Health Assessments
• Previous GP clinic experience highly desirable
• Current CPR certificate (assistance offered if recently expired)
