Practice Coordinator - Private Dental Practice

About the role

A successful, established premium private dental practice in Kew, Victoria, is looking for an experienced Practice Coordinator. The practice has replicated its patient-centred model at other select locations in Melbourne. The role ensures the efficient and seamless day-to-day running of the practice, leading a highly motivated team and developing each member's talents while maintaining a professional and positive attitude towards clinicians, patients, referring dentists and organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and seamless day-to-day running of the practice
• Ensure ideal patient care and first-class patient experiences
• Ensure optimal productivity of each clinician and monitor clinician re-bookings
• Identify obstacles to growth and development
• Manage and lead the team, working with the Group Client Experience Manager to keep the patient experience consistent
• Deal with patient queries sympathetically and politely, and make sure patient feedback is acknowledged and acted upon
• Arrange rosters and holiday rotations
• Provide clinicians' needs such as dental assistants and equipment
• Supervise all banking procedures and prepare monthly practice reports
• Enact the Practice Mission

Required profile

• Experienced Practice Manager who values patient-centred care over KPIs
• Ability to work well with patients, clinicians and support staff
• Enjoyment of team motivation and teamwork
• Confident in the administrative aspects of practice management
