Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

About the role

Join Hearth Allied Health’s Behaviour Support team to develop and deliver person‑centred support for clients with disability. You will work closely with interdisciplinary professionals, families and stakeholders to implement positive behaviour strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans.
• Perform service needs assessments and identify restrictive practices.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate supports in line with Disability Services Standards, NDIS and Child Safety legislation.
• Provide advice and training on positive behaviour support to individuals and organisations.
• Participate in supervision, audits and other PBS‑related duties.

Required profile

• Experience working with people with disability and knowledge of NDIS practice standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Effective organisation, time‑management and critical‑thinking abilities.
