Planificateur(trice) – Construction Projects

About the role

As a Planner within Pomerleau’s Alternative Projects Expertise Centre (APEX), you will support large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will work closely with project managers and support consultants to ensure seamless collaboration from design through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the project team in creating and updating the project schedule.
• Analyse schedule data and variances to identify and resolve major project issues.
• Lead and support schedule‑compliance meetings with the client.
• Apply project‑specific health, safety and environmental standards and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and codes.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of hands‑on planning experience in the construction industry.
• Completed a construction‑related certificate program or hold a degree in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, quality and cost control.
• Ability to quickly spot schedule conflicts, determine root causes and propose effective solutions while collaborating with large teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning software, especially Primavera P6.
