Pharmacy Educator

About the role

Ramsay Pharmacy is seeking an experienced hospital pharmacist to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of pharmacy education programmes. Reporting to the Medication Safety & Quality Manager, you will drive workforce development that supports safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate pharmacy education, training and workforce development programmes.
• Lead orientation, onboarding and competency‑based learning initiatives for pharmacy staff.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and professional development to pharmacists, interns and support staff.
• Support clinical and corporate governance through education and quality‑improvement activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate ClinCAT assessments and workplace‑based learning activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient and ethical pharmacy operations in line with professional standards, legislation and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Experienced hospital pharmacist with a passion for developing others.
• Committed to advancing pharmacy practice through education, innovation and leadership.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities; thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• ANZCAP Consultant credentials, relevant postgraduate qualifications and ClinCAT Evaluator accreditation.
