Pharmacy Administration Team Manager

About the role

As the Administration Team Manager within the Pharmacy Department, you will lead a dedicated group of administrative professionals who support clinical service delivery. You will ensure that administrative operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives while fostering a high‑performing team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of administrative staff, promoting professionalism and service excellence.
• Coordinate workforce activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance development, roster management and leave planning.
• Monitor operational performance, maintain data integrity, prepare reports and contribute to business planning and resource management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance and the quality of administrative services supporting patient care.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising administration teams in a complex or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to organise, prioritise and coordinate competing administrative activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Sound knowledge of human‑resource practices, workforce management and contemporary administrative systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
