Pharmacist – Maternity Leave Cover (Hybrid)

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Pharmacist to join the experienced team at Ramsay Pharmacy Westmead on a maternity‑leave cover basis. The role is hybrid, combining retail front‑of‑house duties with clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialised medication management within the dispensary.
• Prepare and deliver medications to hospital wards.
• Manage routine dispensary duties and clinical services for inpatient wards.
• Operate the retail pharmacy: store operations, patient counselling, out‑patient dispensing.
• Administer vaccinations (vaccination accreditation preferred).

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• High level of computer literacy and familiarity with dispensing software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a friendly team environment.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is valued but not essential.

Required skills

• Dispensing software proficiency.
• Vaccination administration (accreditation preferred).
• Computer literacy for pharmacy systems.
