Pharmacist (Grade 1/2) – Mental Health & Eating Disorders

About the role

This temporary full‑time position supports the HNE Mental Health Pharmacy Service and the NSW Residential Eating Disorders Centre. You will deliver clinical pharmacy services across mental health wards and an eating‑disorders facility, covering three sites on a 38‑hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medication counselling and medicines information to clients and staff at the Residential Eating Disorders Centre.
• Assess clients’ ability to self‑administer medication and facilitate medication supply.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds and clinical handovers (face‑to‑face or via telehealth).
• Cover dispensary duties for in‑patients at Mater Mental Health and the Intermediate Stay Mental Health Unit.
• Offer clinical advice to mental health outpatient services, including participation in the HNE clozapine shared‑care program.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist eligible for NSW registration.
• Experience in mental health or eating‑disorders pharmacy is preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and backfill maternity leave until early January 2027.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education and orientation programs.
