Pharmacist – Alice Springs Corrections Centre

About the role

The Alice Springs Corrections Centre (ASCC) is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join its multidisciplinary pharmacy team. This position offers the chance to work in a remote, desert environment while contributing to Aboriginal and remote health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medicines management services as part of the broader NT Health Care Team.
• Optimise the quality use of medicines through innovative patient care.
• Collaborate with the Senior Prison Lead pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, and other health professionals.
• Support the Senior Pharmacist in Primary and Public Health Care with oversight and guidance.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with a passion for Aboriginal or remote health.
• Willingness to live and work in the Northern Territory’s desert lifestyle.
• Professional level 2 or 3 pharmacist qualification.
