People Experience Specialist

About the role

The People Experience Specialist will shape CDC’s employee experience by designing, delivering and continuously improving the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle and the supporting systems. This hands‑on role blends operational delivery with a focus on building scalable, well‑designed processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage core employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, role changes, performance, leave, surveys and off‑boarding.
• Draft and administer employment documentation and lifecycle correspondence in line with internal standards and legislation.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee lifecycle and process‑related queries.
• Ensure lifecycle processes are delivered accurately, consistently and on time.
• Identify pain points and implement improvements using feedback and data insights.
• Administer and continuously improve HR systems, maintaining data integrity and user adoption.
• Design and optimise automation, exploring practical AI applications to reduce manual effort and enhance the employee experience.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operational delivery experience in HR or people operations.
• Strong focus on building scalable, well‑designed processes.
• Ability to own documentation, workflows and systems while seeking simplification and automation.
• Proactive mindset with a data‑driven approach to identifying and solving experience challenges.
