About the role

Specsavers' Recruitment Services team in Port Melbourne is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Reporting to the Permanent Recruitment Team Leader, you will work closely with Store Partners across Australia to deliver recruitment for optical and retail positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective resourcing strategies, from sourcing to assessment, for both permanent and niche roles.
• Build strong relationships with Store Partners, hiring managers and candidates, and contribute to store retention initiatives.
• Support broader resource planning tailored to each region and ensure best‑practice recruitment processes are applied.

Required profile

• Proven end‑to‑end recruitment experience in a high‑volume, candidate‑short market.
• Ability to implement proactive talent strategies for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a can‑do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
