Paste Fill Operator

About the role

Barminco is seeking experienced Underground Paste Crew members to join a 77‑day FIFO roster from Perth, supporting safe and efficient underground mining at the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct paste running activities and monitor paste fill devices, walls and valves.
• Complete paste fill checklists, paperwork and ensure backfill is completed as per plan.
• Install, monitor and maintain paste barricades, bulkheads and clear paste lines to prevent blockages.
• Work closely with mining and production teams to meet schedules while following safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paste Crew Operator.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures.
• Relevant operating tickets and licences, including a valid manual driver’s licence.
• Ability to meet site access requirements (medical, DAS, NPC, police clearance).

Required skills

• Paste fill equipment operation.
• Installation and maintenance of paste barricades and bulkheads.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of paste fill systems.
