About the role

The Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a qualified Pharmacist (Grade 1/2) to join the clinical pharmacy team at Grafton Base and Maclean District Hospitals on a part‑time, permanent basis. You will deliver safe, effective medication services within a supportive healthcare community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across the hospital sites.
• Ensure medication dispensing complies with relevant legislation and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and audits.
• Support professional development and mentorship of junior pharmacy staff.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with eligibility for Grade 1 or Grade 2 classification.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or legal right to work in Australia.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care in a hospital setting.
• Willingness to relocate to the Northern Rivers region.
