Part‑time Food & Beverage Attendant – Hotel Service

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic part‑time Food & Beverage Attendants to join the service team at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster. In this role you will support breakfast, lunch, dinner and conference catering, delivering seamless guest experiences in a vibrant hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, respond to enquiries and manage restaurant bookings.
• Maintain a clean and tidy presentation of the bar and restaurant areas, following opening, closing and daily procedures.
• Take ownership of your designated section and station throughout your shift.
• Assist guests with menu selections and drive sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Support conference service tasks as required.

Required profile

• Available to work a minimum of three shifts per week, including weekends.
• Flexible to work early mornings, late evenings and weekend rosters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Required skills

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system (preferred).
