Part‑time Dental Assistant

About the role

Join Maven Dental Windsor as a part‑time Dental Assistant and become an integral member of a supportive team focused on quality patient care. You will work alongside experienced clinicians, gaining hands‑on experience in a friendly practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are ready.
• Complete sterilisation and infection‑control procedures.
• Maintain equipment and keep clinical areas clean and organised.
• Support clinicians to keep appointments running smoothly and help patients feel comfortable.
• Provide post‑treatment care instructions when required.
• Assist with general practice and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (Certificate III in Dental Assisting desirable).
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
• Patient‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office.
