About the role
Oaks Perth Hotel is looking for two part‑time cooks to join the kitchen team on a fixed‑term basis, covering maternity leave. This role offers immediate start and a rotating roster across breakfast and dinner services.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, cook and plate a variety of dishes in line with menu standards.
- Maintain food storage, safety and hygiene standards and keep the kitchen clean and WHS‑compliant.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months’ experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Positive, proactive attitude with good communication skills and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Required skills
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance requirements.
