Parts Advisor Apprentice

About the role

Scania Prestons is looking for a Parts Advisor Apprentice to join its team, where customer relationships, problem-solving and commercial thinking are valued every day. The apprentice gains the knowledge and skills needed to build and maintain excellent relationships with external and internal customers, from enquiry and invoicing through to follow-up service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Parts Advisors in picking and delivering the correct parts to customers and the workshop, packing parts and arranging delivery when required.
• Complete relevant documentation accurately, including invoices, payments and other official paperwork.
• Build and develop customer relationships through excellent customer service.
• Work with the Workshop on parts availability and ensure packaging, service-exchange and warranty parts procedures are followed.
• Help monitor stock, spare parts and inventory, and organise stock takes as required.

Required profile

• Full working rights in New Zealand or Australia.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Education at lower secondary school level 2.
