Senior Parts Advisor

About the role

Scania Prestons is looking for a Senior Parts Advisor to join its new Prestons branch. The role is central to building and maintaining excellent customer relationships with both external and internal customers, and sits alongside the Workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop customer relationships through excellent customer service
• Complete relevant documentation accurately, including invoices and payments
• Work closely with the Workshop to ensure parts availability
• Load and unload parts and place them in the right bins
• Pick and deliver parts to customers and the workshop
• Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory

Required profile

• Previous experience in a parts or warehouse role within the automotive industry
• Proven experience in automotive parts sales
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring others
• Commercially minded, with a focus on sales and profit targets
• Full working rights or permanent resident status in New Zealand or Australia
