Part-time Registered Nurse – Fixed Term

About the role

This part‑time, fixed‑term position is based in Southport and involves delivering high‑quality nursing care within a haemodialysis clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Participates in the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care for haemodialysis patients.
• Maintains accurate patient information in medical records and the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) while adhering to privacy policies.
• Ensures a safe, secure and healthy environment for staff, patients and visitors in line with Workplace Health and Safety policy.
• Actively reports incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities as part of the quality improvement process.
• Completes clinical and mandatory competencies annually and performs defined management functions when required.

Required profile

• Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrated clinical competence or progression towards competence in nephrology nursing.
• Understanding of quality improvement processes and risk management obligations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Self‑directed with strong organisational, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
