Part-Time Pullman Host

About the role

A hotel in Adelaide, part of the Accor network, is hiring a part-time Pullman Host. Reporting to the Senior Pullman Host and Director of Operations, the Pullman Host is a guest experience expert and the main, visible point of contact for guests throughout their stay. The role creates memorable experiences by anticipating needs, personalising service and responding promptly to requests and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, provide personalised service and support arrivals, departures and VIP guests
• Give local information and recommendations, act as concierge and handle guest enquiries
• Maintain accurate guest information in hotel systems and escalate concerns when needed
• Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme and recommend facilities, dining and services
• Identify upselling opportunities and take part in hotel tours and familiarisation activities
• Work with all departments, help out during busy periods and special events, and follow health and safety rules

Required profile

• Previous hotel, hospitality, guest services, customer service or concierge experience preferred
• Experience in fast-paced customer service
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages highly regarded
• Knowledge of local attractions, events and restaurants, or ability to build it quickly
• Flexible to a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays and evenings
• Friendly, approachable, organised, proactive and a team player

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Hotel management systems; Opera experience desirable but not essential
