Part-Time Guest Service Agent

About the role

Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel is looking for a part-time Guest Service Agent to welcome guests and guide them through their stay, from check-in and check-out to advice on local attractions and eateries. The position suits someone who wants to deliver excellent customer service in a hotel front office setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly reception to guests on arrival and ensure a smooth, efficient check-in while answering immediate questions.
• Maintain clear, courteous communication with guests, colleagues and stakeholders by in-person, phone and email.
• Oversee accurate processing of guest reservations, updates and special requests using property management systems.
• Act as the main point of contact during the stay, resolving issues and giving personalised recommendations.

Required profile

• Background in high-quality service in a hotel, hospitality or customer-facing environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally across different channels.
• Proactive, positive approach to guest needs and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts, including rotating Monday to Sunday schedules between 5:00am and midnight.
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
