Part-Time Dental Assistant (3 Days Per Week)

About the role

A long-established, privately owned dental practice in Blackwood, South Australia, is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join its team three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:15am to 5:15pm). The practice is known for preventive and general dentistry, a calm, home-like atmosphere and strong patient care. There is potential for additional days in the future.

Key responsibilities

• Work chairside alongside experienced dentists
• Support the hygiene and reception teams when needed
• Maintain excellent infection control and sterilisation standards

Required profile

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Enjoyment of working closely with patients
• Organised, dependable and proactive
• Ability to work well in a mature, supportive team
• Positive attitude and willingness to help
• Interest in long-term stability and career growth

Required skills

• Dental assisting experience
• Infection control and sterilisation
• Experience with Dental4Windows is highly regarded but not essential
