About the role

HWL Ebsworth, a large legal partnership in Australia, is hiring an experienced Paralegal for its Sydney Wills and Estates practice group, working with Partners Guy Maloney and Josephine Pignataro and the team. The role sits in a close-knit team supporting estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration, including complex matters involving high net worth individuals. The firm offers a flexible 3:2 hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Draft Wills and estate planning documents
• Assist with estate administration matters
• Prepare company and trust documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare file notes to support the team

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience as a paralegal, ideally with exposure to Wills and Estates work
• Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Aptitude for direct interaction with clients
• Full working rights in Australia; applicants are encouraged to come from the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community

Required skills

• Good drafting skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with PEXA is preferred but not required
