Panel Operator – Gas Production Control Room

About the role

The Panel Operator will work from the Brisbane Central Control Room, monitoring and operating critical gas assets across Integrated Gas sites. You will ensure safe, reliable production while meeting daily gas nominations and responding to unplanned events.

Key responsibilities

• Safe operation of all field and facility assets throughout Integrated Gas Upstream Operations.
• Respond to alarms, rectify situations, and coordinate site operator response as needed.
• Adjust operating set‑points and optimise assets to meet production plans.
• Manage transfer of control between control room and site locations.
• Conduct remote start‑up, shutdown and optimisation of assets.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in control room or remote operations within oil and gas production.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a cross‑functional team.
