OSHC Mentor Coordinator – Boronia and Surrounds

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for an OSHC Mentor Coordinator for its Boronia and surrounding services. You will lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, running activities such as STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts. The role is permanent and part-time, at 30 hours per week, split between two shifts: approximately 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Create and lead a dynamic, child-centred program with engaging activities
• Take full ownership of the team's roster and manage day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance and handle admin tasks
• Foster teamwork and growth, supported by mentorship from regional managers and a dedicated office team

Required profile

• A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
• Holds or is willing to obtain a national police check (the employer covers it)
• Australian working rights
• Working-with-children check
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)
• Diploma-level qualification in Victoria in accordance with ACECQA, or working towards it
