OSHC Coordinator - Golden Beach

About the role

Golden Beach Helping Hands, a small service of Junior Adventures Group (JAG) caring for about 30 children, is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator. This is a permanent, part-time role (35 hours per week) across split shifts, Monday to Friday, with 5 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time. The Coordinator leads a team of Educators and oversees a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated.
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow.

Required profile

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in QLD under ACECQA.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• A natural leader with strong communication skills, and a willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Australian work rights.
