OSH Club Educator - Wellard Area

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic OSHC Educator to join its OSHClub team in the Wellard area. The role is a permanent part-time position of 22 hours per week, with consistent hours during the school term and extra shifts available during school holidays. It suits experienced educators, those studying towards a career in education, or anyone who loves working with children.

Key responsibilities

• Create a fun, safe and welcoming space where primary school-aged children can relax, make friends and explore their interests.
• Work alongside a supportive team to bring activities to life, encourage creativity and make each session something children look forward to.
• Be based at the Wellard service, with occasional opportunities to support nearby services.

Required profile

• Enjoys working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences through play.
• Positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude, reliable team player who builds relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Understands the importance of child safety and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• No formal qualification required; candidates holding or working towards an ACECQA-recognised qualification are highly regarded.
• Holds or is willing to obtain the required Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Australian working rights and able to meet the availability requirements of the role.

What we offer

• Pay of $27-$38 per hour plus super, plus an additional $21 per day for split shifts.
• Consistent hours on split shifts: Rise then Shine (before school care) 6:30am-8:50am and Stay and Play (after school care) 2:45pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
