Oral Health Therapist (Casual)

About the role

A growing dental practice, expanding from two to four chairs, is looking for a friendly, patient-focused Oral Health Therapist (OHT) in a flexible casual position. Working 2-5 days per week with scheduling options Monday to Sunday, the role suits people balancing school, family or other commitments. You will have dedicated Dental Assistant support so you can focus on patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine dental examinations and oral health assessments
• Perform professional teeth cleaning, scaling and preventive treatments
• Educate patients and families on effective oral hygiene habits
• Deliver personalised preventive care for patients of different ages
• Build trusting relationships with patients and support their ongoing dental health
• Manage your own appointments independently and work with a friendly dental team

Required profile

• Qualification in Oral Health Therapy
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Confidence providing check-ups, cleans and preventive care independently
• Availability for 2-5 days per week; ability to start soon is highly regarded
